I hold an initial meeting with each client at their location, to assess their needs and wishes. If the meeting is for fact-finding only, it is a free consultation. If I begin work, the charge is $25 per hour. Typically I schedule one or more meetings per week until the job is finished. In that case, the fee remains $25 per hour. For less frequent scheduling, the fee is $35 per hour. There is a two hour minimum in both cases. I can purchase needed office items if necessary, and will obtain the client's approval of the cost before the purchase. I do not use subcontractors as this is a personal service, and I prefer to get to know the client and follow through myself. I enjoy this work and love the results! This is a Professional Organizing, Productivity and Time Management consulting company, offering hands-on de-cluttering and organizing services plus training and productivity coaching. Ms. Hartwell is currently serving her 4th term as the San Diego NAPO Chapter President and has served in other board positions as well. After the phone consultation, clients who wish to secure a session with SOS will be asked to send photos (not required) of their problem areas for evaluation. A 50% deposit to hold a 1/2 day session on Ms. Hartwell's calendar will also be requested. The balance of payment is made immediately after the session. Future session payments will either be paid in advance (via a retainer package of hours) or by the end of each session.
